1 Month Old...

Wow, time certainly flies. We're having fun getting to know our little lady. We're not having fun during the middle of the night feedings but that goes without saying. I forgot how much 3 middle of the night wakings/feedings can take a toll on the human brain...Although, I know how quickly this stage of innocence will pass so I'm trying to take it all in- she's such a little sweetie. I can't get over how much she resembles her brother at the same age. She's starting to gain the lbs like her brother too.
Landon is obsessed with kissing and hugging his little sister. He's always asking "where did the baby go?" and he wants to have her near when we're reading bedtime stories. We can tell Landon is going through a bit of a transition - he's been great with Jordan but is testing us. I'm not going to lie, I am feeling a little overwhelmed with two little ones and it's only just begun- but I feel like we have a busy, warm home now which is something I've always wanted :O). I just have to accept that the house will not be spotless, things will be out of place and looking more 'used'- but there are more important things right?
Aunt Maryann and cousin Spencer came down to visit us a few weeks ago- they are so sweet to drive down for a few- hour visit and on top of that they brought us dinner too!

I'm right there with you although the BIG difference is that you have TWO and I only have one! I don't know how you do it with two. You're so right, though, this time will pass soon enough and who knows - we may even end up missing the middle-of-the-night feedings. :)

Love the new photos and stories of Landon and Jordan. How sweet he loves his baby sister. Also, someone told me recently that a spotless house is the sign of a wasted life. Enjoy your little ones! You can clean another year. :-)

Oh my gosh! Jordan is so beautiful! And she certainly does look a lot like her big brother! Hope you're doing well...xoxo
