Fun in a Box

This weekend when Danny was putting up another Christmas decoration outside, Landon had a blast playing in the box it came in (and eating the box as you can see). "6 Month Checkup"

Yesterday I took Landon in for his 6 month check-up (even though he'll be 7 months old on 12/14/06). I seriously almost fell off of my chair when the nurse said that he weighed in at 19lbs 8oz....He LOST 5 oz since his last check up which was 2 months ago!! He's 27 inches long and the pediatrician said he's doing great and she's not worried about him losing a little bit of weight since he's obviously a healthy boy! She said she can tell he is a very content baby and that he's really expressive (that was after he screamed with excitement). Yesterday I was in Nordy's and 3 women came out from behind the counters to play with little man- he kept laughing and flashing his smile at them while they squeezed his legs and made googly faces at him- it was hilarious. Here is a pic of Landon and his favorite toy right now...and then one picture of him and Nicole. I forgot one thing...Landon has gotten his first two bottom teeth! That explains the fever and night wakings....

Sitting, Rolling, Eating...

I don't have any shots of Landon rolling over, I haven't caught any on film just yet...He just started to really roll over last week (6 months old). He's been sitting since about 4 months old and he's starting to lunge forward and to the side like he has places to go and people to see...but inevitably, he lands on his face and gets upset and tries to squirm and crawl. He started solids about a month ago. At first he didn't like solid food at all, now we can't get it into his mouth fast enough. He does this grunting thing when he eats too, pretty funny. He's still a good sleeper at night, he goes from 7:30pm- 5:30-6am but he's been waking up a few times a night the last few nights and makes a few peeps, then goes back to sleep.
His next appt is December 7th so details to come soon...

Janine's Kauai Wedding

Here are some pics from Janine and Daniel's wedding week. We were lucky enough to go on this nice vacation solo because Grandma and Grandpa were kind enough to watch Landon. We are so so so lucky to have them and they give Landon so much love!!
Daniel and Janine got married at the botanical gardens in Kauai on November 11th- it was the most beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. The wedding was a blast, we danced for hours (at least Natalie and I did- Danny danced for a while but then wasn't feeling well). Unfortunately later that night both Danny and Ed were victims of terrible food poisoning :(.

I forgot to add pics from Janine's bachelorette party in Vegas (I have to add those before the pics from the wedding :O) ). We were at Body English when we took these pictures...We had a blast...

Long time no post!!

Well it's been forever since I've posted, sorry. I tried to post pics on here a few times and it wasn't working for me. Well first off, we have a new bundle of joy in the family- William Jackson the IV! He arrived on October 11th and Noha and Billy are doing great and having a blast being new parents. Here's a picture of Landon in his Halloween costume-hahaha! As you can tell, he wasn't thrilled with the tight pea pod hat...He was loved by the neighbors when we took him Trick or Treating. Danny and I just got back from Hawaii. I included a few pictures from the NaPali Coast hike Danny and a few friends went on, it was 22 miles round trip and they did it in a little over 24 hours...needless to say they were exhausted...You can see one of the guy's feet in the shot and then just a few inches out, you can see the beach about 500 ft down- it was a little dangerous in certain spots...read the sign Danny and Dustin are kneeling next to.
Janine and Daniel got married at a botanical garden which was absolutely beautiful!! I will post some pictures from there when I get them. Landon will be going in for his 6 month check up soon (even though he'll be closer to 7 months) so we'll keep you posted...

4 month check up

Landon's 4 mo appt was last Thursday (10/5/06) and are you ready for this....???....he weighed in at 19lbs 13oz!!!! He is 25 3/4 inches long and the pediatrician said he is doing great. We tried giving him oatmeal for the first time (the pediatrician said it could help with his reflux), and he HATED it! It was so funny, he gagged and got the chills everytime we would put the spoon to his mouth. Danny had him all decked out in his Tomlinson jersey for the Charger game- sorry the pic posted twice.
This little guy has us smiling all the time, he loves to laugh and wakes us up every morning at 6am on the dot just yapping up a storm in his crib, it's so cute.

I just wanted to post a few recent shots...Landon goes for his 4 month check up on Thursday (even though he's 4 1/2 mos old) so I'll post more then. Danny and I are betting on his weight- I say 18lbs 4 oz and he says 18lbs 5 oz....to be continued....

Time Flies!

It's almost been a month since I posted! Well, unfortunately I go back to work tomorrow- it's a very sad day for me but I am so happy we have such a wonderful friend who is going to take care of Landon. Let's see, he's up to 17 pounds now and is doing great. He loves to flash huge wide-mouthed smiles at people. Here's a picture of him with Uncle Billy and Aunt Noha (who is due October 13th!!), one of Landon helping me with the laundry, another picture of Stephanie and Parker when we went down to the bay, another of him and Gianna, and the last picture is of Kelly, Landon, Hollie and Kaden (he's 6 weeks old).

Landon had a check up today...he's 11 wks old, 23 1/2 inches long and he weighed in at 15lbs 10 oz- he's a big boy! The last two nights he slept from 10pm-6am-yippee!! He does a great job at making us laugh- he loves to giggle and babble all day long. Here's a picture of him in a jumper- he loves the freedom. Here's another picture of Landon with Megan Brezovar- they got to meet eachother at Kim Libby's wedding (which was a blast of course)!

July....

Oops...we got busy and haven't posted in a while. Here's some pics of Landon with the family- first with Uncle J, then Grandpa, then Aunt Wendy, and cousins Elizabeth and Keagan.
Landon is smiling, laughing and cooing more than ever and we love it! He's also recently started sleeping from about 10pm-4am- yippee!! We're so happy and so much more well rested (not completely rested of course :o) ).
We just met with the other two couples from our childbirth class the other night-it was so much fun to see them. Landon is a month younger than one of the babies and Landon weighs almost 3 more pounds than him. He's getting very difficult to carry ;).

BIG BOY!!

Wow- I took Landon to the pediatrician yesterday and he weighed in at 12 lbs, 11 oz! He's gained almost 5 lbs in 5 weeks- I have trouble holding him already :).

Here's a picture from Father's Day where Landon got to have his first swim with dad!! We had a great Father's Day with Bill, Cece, Ken, Stephanie, Nateal, Parker, Noha, and Billy! Thanks so much to Stephanie for this great black and white shot- she's amazing!!

Almost 1 month old!

It's hard to believe Landon will be a month old this weekend!! As you can probably tell, he is a good eater :). Here's a picture of his first bath, Aunt Maryann was here to help and we had so much fun giving him his bath. The other picture is from last night, Landon was just relaxing in bed with dad- so cute!!

5/25/06

We saw the pediatrician today and Landon weighs around 8.4 lbs- he's gaining weight very well-yay!! Here are some pictures of Landon and family/friends; he's hanging out with dad, Natalie and Janine, Brigitte, and Lindsay... (this site is still causing problems when I try to post pics but hopefully you can see them all).
Not too much going on here besides chaos :)- we're just enjoying our time getting to know the little man, he's a sweetie.
