1st Haircut

So we gave Landon his first haircut (well, Danny did). All Landon seemed to care about during the hair cut was his cheerios so that made it pretty easy. We mostly just had to shorten up his comb forward because it was getting a little out of hand. Last Thursday Landon and I went down to the bay and I took Landon on the swings. He is in his element outside, that's for sure. I tried to get an action shot of him army crawling but it looks like I did better at capturing the drool pouring out of his mouth. Here's the cutest shot of Parker-she was so content to be carried around in the basket by Uncle Billy.

We are really having the time of our lives with Landon, he has brought so much joy into our lives. We'll just go into random laughing fits that begin with him chuckling...then we start laughing...then he starts laughing even harder...pure belly laughs...babies are the best.

It's already February!!??

Long time no post...I know...

I thought I had more pictures downloaded but I guess I was wrong. I'll have to post again soon. We went wine tasting a few weekends ago in Santa Barbara for Brigitte's 30th birthday. Geoff rented a charter bus for almost 30 of us and we had a great time! There's some people missing from this shot but it's not so easy to get a group that big to pose for a picture, especially when they're drinking wine! I love SB- it's such a beautiful town, we wish we could live there again...oh well, we can dream right? A lot has been changing with little man...he's been army crawling for about 3 weeks now...Every now and then he'll be able to hoist that big belly off the ground and rock on his hands and knees but then he drops flat on the ground with his arms and legs flailing...He sure is getting around fast, we are having to baby proof as we go. He's been saying mama, dada, and baba for a few weeks as well. He sure knows how to work mama already...when he's laying in his crib and doesn't want to go to sleep, sometimes he'll say "mamamamamamama" and it gets me every time!! He also loves to walk when we hold his arms, he's been doing this for about a month. He just squeals with excitement whenever we lift him up to stand...we're afraid he may walk before he even masters crawling- then we'll really be in for it! His favorite food right now seems to be cheerios- he can't get enough of them and he does his 'jazz hands' move whenever he sees the box.

We'll be busy this weekend...Danny is heading down to the Rugby Tournament at Petco and after that we're going to Natalie's parents to celebrate Rob's birthday. Sunday Nicole and I are getting massages (thanks to Danny and J for this Christmas present!!)....
